ANTCC CELEBRATES 74TH REPUBLIC DAY

Along with the entire Nation, the Andaman &Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee has commemorated the 74th years Celebrations of the Republic Day of India on 26th January 2023 at Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair in a befitting manner. The PCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder has unfurled the National Tricolor on 7:45 AM followed by National Anthem by all the office bearers of Pradesh Congress Committee, District Congress, Block Congress, City Congress and Frontal Organizations viz. Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal, NSUI, INTUC, PRI members, All cells and general public with patriotic fervour. The Freedom Fighters were especially remembered on this Occasion for their incomparable Courage and Contributions towards building a Democratic Nation. Shri. Halder said that on this day in the year 1950 the Indian Constitution came into force which made India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic with a Parliamentary system of Government. He expressed the need for every islander to imbibe the spirit enshrined in the preamble of Indian Constitution and to work for development of these islands maintaining social harmony, peace and tranquility. He further said that the Indian constitution is unique, which takes care and respects the aspirations of every caste, religion and guarantees for equal rights.
