Port Blair.  Under the leadership of Gram Panchayat Kanya Puram Panchayat head Mr. P Abdul Basheer deputy head Mrs. Shayra Bano, panchayat members Mr. Ismail, Mrs. Reshma, Mrs. Maimuna met the Chief Secretary Mr. Keshav Chandra (IAS) Discussed the topics.

Pradhan Shri P.Abdul Basheer said that he first raised the issue related to the construction of new panchayat building and demanded that this new panchayat building should have all kinds of state-of-the-art facilities.  He said that the issue of construction of road to connect two villages between Model Village and Kadaka Chang was also raised. Mr. P.Abdul Basheer said that two playgrounds located at Model Village and Naya Puram should be further developed for the recovering players in Gram Panchayat Kanya Puram and all kinds of facilities should be provided to these grounds. Shri P. Abdul Basheer urged the Chief Secretary for better road as well as better supply of drinking water.

Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Kanya Puram Shri P.Abdul Basheer told that he requested the Chief Secretary Shri Keshav Chandra (IAS) to transfer the closed building of Kanya Puram school under Kanya Puram Panchayat to alternative status So that different types of training camps being run by the Government of India and the administration can be organized here for educated youths, girls, women and men.

DIGLIPUR POLICE CRACK RS. 2.5 LAKH GOLD BURGLARY CASE IN 24 HOURS, TWO ARRESTED report by ROHIT Diglipur, Oct 23: A case of burglary involving gold ornaments valued at Rs. 2.5 lakhs was reported at PS Diglipur on 21/10/2024. The case was promptly resolved through the efforts of the PS Diglipur team, resulting in the arrest of two accused persons and the recovery of the stolen property within 24 hours.
